Finance and Treasury Unit Manager
Serendib Microinsurance Plc., one of the subsidiary companies of LOLC Holdings Plc, obtained the license from the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia in December 2020. Currently, we are looking for a qualified and dynamic candidate to fulfill the following position:
Job Summary:
The Finance and Treasury Unit Manager is responsible for leading the financial management, treasury operations, liquidity management, investment activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance of the company. The role ensures effective cash flow management, compliance with CIFRS/IFRS standards and insurance regulations, optimization of investment returns, financial risk management, and support for strategic business decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance and treasury functions and provide strategic financial advice to management.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, the Board, regulators, and group reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Cambodian International Financial Reporting Standards (CIFRS) and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit reviews, regulatory reporting, and financial disclosures.
- Review and improve finance policies, procedures, financial reporting systems, and internal controls.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability, risks, and investments, and provide recommendations to management.
- Support budget planning, monitor budget performance, and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain effective financial governance, safeguard company assets, and strengthen financial controls.
- Stay updated on IFRS standards and regulatory changes, and support the development of the finance team.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
